mscheaf
Are there any limits on Shop at home? Has anyone placed several orders to get several Spacemans? I have 3 on the way so far. My plan was to place one more order and get a fourth and then stop pressing my luck.
kenaijoe
Was it one of you that created the Amazon listing for the spaceman? www.amzn.com/B00LJYQH94 If so, you should add the words "Classic Spaceman" to your title because right now it's pretty hard to find in search. Most customers won't know to search for "5002812"
Flemdog33
I don't see this set lasting until the 14th. I've got one on the way and will be trying to get 8-10 of these. Just a hunch they do really really well and not just short term. Great looking set!
Fcbarcelona101
I will get 2 and take the opportunity to buy a couple Maersk ships as well. Will hold those Spacemen for a couple months to see how they perform, but given their limited availability I really thing they are pretty much a sure winner. zskid00
I ordered a T1 and the Spaceman and Chima promos shipped separate. Fedex says the package is only 0.3 pounds, but the dimensions are 6x6x6" so it should be coming in a box, not a bubble mailer. It should arrive by the end of the week so I will be able to confirm then. Unfortunately Fedex has now updated the package dimensions and they are 13x10x2 in. so I'm afraid these are coming in a bubble mailer if shipped separately. Mine should arrive today or tomorrow and I'm hoping it isn't a pancake.
cvail8
is this OOS already? I can't get it to add to my cart no matter what I try.
kenchu2000
is this OOS already? I can't get it to add to my cart no matter what I try. Works for me, try clear browser cache, or try on another computer.
kenchu2000
Oh I remember someone mentioned that you need to sign in before you add to cart, otherwise the spaceman promo won't add to cart.
brick_slayer
is this OOS already? I can't get it to add to my cart no matter what I try. I just made a purchase and the Spaceman was added to my cart. Though it wasn't showing up earlier this morning like you said. I held off on my purchase because I wanted another and now glad I did

mscheaf
My first one came in today. I ordered a T1 and they shipped the spaceman separately. Arrived in a decent sized box. I thought it was something else until I opened it.

njseale
That would be about the dimensions of the box mine came in today. Is it a nice box? It is always a pain in the butt to find cheap light boxes to ship small sets first class in.

jjsrt8
Got my first one today. All I can say is I hope they dont send all their ebay sales in reused brown paper grocery bags tapped up. Lucky no damage to the little box so im not gona complain. Not the way I wiuld ever ship lego though. Couldce ended up lossing money on that deal. Havent opened it yet seen reviews online gona keep them sealed keeping one for collection. Rest to pair with exo suits.
mscheaf
Well please disregard everything I said. The box was actually something else I ordered, when I went to my mailbox there was a mailer shoved in there that contained the spaceman and a worriz bike. Luckily the box was perfectly intact. It is a very small box. Sorry for the confusion. So short story: yeah, mailers, not boxes. meh

But by the looks of this box, it seems pretty sturdy seeing it has a pull out tray so I assume, and hope that pancaking is not an option, rather a dent. The box is a heavy duty sucker and opens in a matchbox style. Pretty cool little set overall. Will post pics of the little white spaceman in his new home later tonight :)
jaylay
you guys worrying about the spaceman box being shipped in a mailer or box ... well what about you folks that ordered large heavy sets that are actually in stock and the spaceman was carelessly placed on top or bottom of the sets! the weight will surely "pancake" the spaceman box and or even dent the larger heavier set ... jjsrt8
Anyone think these will actually be a good investment? Whats the possible cap price for this throwback set. Ive been buying some at low 20s wondering if its a good idea. Im proably gona tie them in with exoa to sell unless they dont sell that way. glenbart
At free it is 100% a good investment. Do you mean, is it worth making multiple $99 investments, probably, if you know what to buy. Don't expect them to sell much after the initial peak though.
