jback93 Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 There's a guy selling a huge lot of potentailly 71 bionicle sets for $500. Most sets appear to be intact and have box/instructions. BP lot calculator values it at $1400. I'm willing to go $250 as this has been posted for 30 days and was recently updated so it's still active. I've never sold Bionicle so looking to the forum for advice. What do you think? 8615 8617 8621 8624 8625 8685 8687 8688 8689 8690 8692 8693 8694 8695 8696 8697 8699 8728 8729 8730 8731 8732 8733 8734 8742 8744 8747 8755 8756 8758 8761 8762 8764 8769 8892 8893 8900 8901 8902 8903 8904 8905 8910 8911 8912 8913 8914 8915 8916 8917 8918 8919 8920 8921 8922 8923 8924 8927 8929 8931 8932 8939 8940 8941 8945 8948 8949 8952 8982 8993 10203 Quote
beartrapper Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 The only advice I can give you is to look over the connection pieces very closely in person if you can. Bionicle ball sockets are extremely fragile and become brittle with age. At least 50% of the last two bulk lot's I've bought are like this. Quote
MartinP Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 I would try to offer the $250 for the whole lot, like you said. The most I would pay for this whole lot is $350-$400. If you buy the lot, good luck selling it, because there is a good profit margin. Quote
Migration Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 I have never had much luck moving Bionicle, when I find it in a bulk lot I generally toss it into the yard sale box. There are a couple exceptions, but I can't remember them right now. Quote

Just check to see the joints are intact? Thanks Quote
beartrapper Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Just eyeball em. I was looking for a quick picture but this thread is full of people discussing the issue. http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/4097-can-this-happen-to-socket-joints/ In this picture what happens a lot is that one half of the socket will be completely missing. http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NDA4WDQ0OQ==/$(KGrHqRHJFUFDydhmHV5BQ-0gVjSdg~~60_12.JPG Quote
