stephen_rockefeller Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 I've been stockpiling the modular buildings for my kids for when they get older. It will be a great bonding experience to break one out every once in a while on a rainy day to build. It would be cheaper to buy and build whatever modular is out at the time ;) Quote
jbacunn Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Yep, already looking to add the Camper Van to the Mountain Hut Welcome to BP. I just added the camper van to my personal collection recently. It's spectacular. You won't regret it. Sent from my iPad using Brickpicker Quote
TWO2SEVEN Posted June 28, 2014 Author Posted June 28, 2014 Yes, it's their policy that adults have to be accompanied by a kid when visiting Legoland (they don't specify that it has to be YOUR kid, however...) But you don't need a kid to shop in their store. I've seen plenty of adult men scoping the place out...probably for SSDs or something... Also, welcome! Thank you. I will be taking him there soon. We went to the Stonebriar Lego store today. Welcome aboard, and welcome back from your dark ages! I did the same thing with my two kids when they were born. I began to stockpile sets for when they got older. They are eight and seven now, and have a lego collection that takes up most of the downstairs. I wouldn't have it any other way. That's a good idea! We just got back from NYC last week. The batman was in a different place though lol That store was really cool. I'm ready to go back to NYC. Welcome to Brickpicker! Thanks! Welcome to BP. Sent from my iPad using Brickpicker I had it in my hand today, but then I saw that they had the Ecto-1 in stock. Welcome! Love seeing that Batman! Thank you! Quote
