Alfiepops
Most shoppers would not have the slightest clue what the RRP is. They believe what they are told. That's how these shops get rid off overstock. Jack up the RRP and people think they are getting a bargain. Shame shame shame.
gefmayhem
Its not quite as simple as putting a large 'before' price on the label then offering a big discount. Certainly it used to be that an item had to be on sale at least one shop in the chain for a certain number of weeks in the previous 12 months. I worked for Woolworths in the 1980's and they used the Luton shop for all the 'original ' prices. So you would see a lable stating - Was
Tpkuk
B&M currently have a few lego sets on offer, ours is quite large in an old Focus DIY store not sure about smaller town centre stores. Anyway they currently have the following Galaxy Squad sets for half price, only had the two larger sets in stock where I am: 70709 - RRP
