Huskers1236 Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 No idea who any of those folks are besides Green Lantern. Looking forward to that set since he's one of the few comic book guys I know. Quote
zskid00 Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 The names have great potential for cool minifigures and sets. Glad to see they are expanding even further from all the Batman sets, though I would bet he'll show up in another set in addition to the GL/Sinestro one we know about. Quote
jbacunn Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 This is cool. It's good to see them expanding the roster of characters and doing new minifigs. Good for investors as well. Quote
Darth_Raichu Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Interesting. So many sets with bad guys' names in the titles. Do they just assume the general public will know who Black Manta is (for example) ? ETA: A lot of people know who the Joker is. BUT the official title of his set still mentions the good guy: 76013 Batman: The Joker Steamroller Quote
njseale Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Wow is all I have to say. Unfortunately this may hurt the value a bit of some of the current themes as a lot of DC mini figures will now be in another set(Flash. Aquaman, Superman at least.) Quote
jeff_14 Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 With the possible exception of Black Manta/Aquaman, these sets should be Wolverine Chopper level gold. A Darkseid figure alone justifies buying any set. Especially if it's a maxi-fig (though I'm not sure if that will happen because he's not Rancor/Wampa/Hulk size vs humans. Gorilla Grodd and the Flash could have potential as well, especially if there's a decent 3rd figure. Poor Wonder Woman. Still just a sideshow without her own set. I wonder if any of her, Cyborg, Shazam, or Martian Manhunter will be third figures in any of these sets. 1 Quote

I wouldn't be surprised to see Wonder Woman and one in there. Quote

Assuming this is related to the Justice League comics from 3 years ago then there should be some Leaguers in there. However there should also be some parademons (Darkseid's shock troops). It's not an invasion when it's just one person. Then it's just a break and enter. Quote

lsfrorex Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Holy Cow!!!! I'm glad they are expanding into the DC Universe. As much as I like Batman, I hope he isn't in all of them. Quote
chinothegeeko Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Cannot wait for these!! Especially Grodd, Black Manta, and Darkseid Quote
Quacs Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 With Lego giving Batman-based sets a rest, recently and newly retired ones could continue to mature nicely past the 1 year mark. May want to consider hanging on to your Batwings, Two Face Chases, Catwoman Cycles, etc. a little longer than a year. Quote
njseale Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 It's going to be interesting seeing which sets retire this year and which ones stay around, I think 76000 might bite the dust this year with a new set with aquaman coming out and all the current Batman sets out. Quote
fuzzy_bricks Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 I think they added the Brainiac set after the initial posting, I don't remember seeing it previously. I wonder how well some of the other characters will sell? Sure the fans will be excited for them to branch out, but what kids? If they're in the upcoming game and have a semi predominate role, that will help, otherwise how interested will the average person be in these characters? I think they'll include a better known character in each set to help push them Quote
Guest brickcrazyhouse Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 http://www.thebrickfan.com/some-lego-marvel-super-heroes-2015-set-details/ can not wait for the hulkbuster suit Quote
njseale Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Wow looks like they are really going to boost the number of superhero sets. I wonder how this will effect some pricing on the current sets when they EOL. Quote
Alpinemaps Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 The post that described the Hulk Buster also mentioned an Invisible Jet. Awesome! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Brickpicker mobile app Quote
TheDarkness Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 They don't need to include Batman in any more sets. Talk about over saturating a character. Quote

Darth_Raichu Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 At least they have variations unlike Spiderman Or Superman MoS. I wonder which version of Sup will be in the new sets Quote
TheDarkness Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 At least they have variations unlike Spiderman Absolutely. Lego shot themselves in the foot there. But we have had the most recent Batman releases, the Tumbler, the upcoming Lego Movie set and now these. Way too much. Quote
