TheOrcKing
Lego celebrates its 15th anniversary since the first wave of releases for Star Wars in 1999! Amazing it really has been that long, huh? via The Brick Fan
comicblast
I'm surprised LEGO didn't do more with May the Fourth and Revenge of the Fifth this year. Disappointing. I wanted my Chrome C3P0!! Ah, well. Here's to another healthy 15 years of Star Wars!!
stephen_rockefeller
Looking back.....the 1999 sets were pretty bad! Lego star wars has come a long way in 15 years.

That first MF is so weird. I'm still a sucker for picking up a sealed set from that first run here or there though.

Agreed. I was building X-wings before lego star wars was conceived and I was so happy to see them come out. One of the only star wars sets I got before going into my dark ages was the first landspeeder. it's a classic and holds a special place in my heart.
