lebrick Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 Wow, that's actually pretty cool what USPS did. So how does it work now? Do you also get to keep the lego? If that's the case, YAY! Quote

Wrapped it in black plastic and slapped a label on it. I'm also positive that my post office must be full of rabid hyenas. Found this on my doorstep yesterday. Thankfully the seller refunded immediately and asked for a few more pictures as he purchased postal insurance. Rabid hyena is a requirement to get a job there from what I heard (special skill) arent you ready to give up online lego buying yet? Lol Quote
Migration Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 Shouldn´t be too hard to figure out who it is - there can´t be that many people on Ebay selling Lego AND used dildos. You’d be surprised. 2 Quote

Lol We are getting close. This is a new one... the box literally was soaked in coffee. It was dry by the time it made it to me, and thankfully the seller wrapped the item on the inside of the box as well so it arrived in fine shape. Due to the label being printed at the post office, and the label being soaked, it happened in transit by a wonderful USPS employee. 1 Quote

vexxet Posted July 13, 2018 Posted July 13, 2018 I have a serious gripe here. I just got back into this after a year hiatus off and apparently Target, Legoshop, and Amazon are packing items like complete crap. About 40% of the sets ive bought had to be returned because of this incompetence. Walmart however has been shipping items in awesome reinforced jet.com type boxes and all items arrive in pristine condition. is this the same for everyone? Quote

I've had multiple issues of late with Walmart and Target putting items in boxes that are way too big with only a few air bags to try to make up the difference. Just had a Winter Train show up that looked like it had spent time in a vise. Quote
Huskers1236 Posted July 13, 2018 Posted July 13, 2018 My order of Holiday Train Stations from Walmart came in a box a small Christmas tree could fit in with probably 30ft of air pillows. Boxes were in great shape, just a little overkill. Quote

I use Staples.com for my smaller box sizes as I find their prices can't be beat. (free shipping to store) ULINE has great high quality boxes, but are often cost prohibitive when compared to local options. Edited July 13, 2018 by pstebbing 1 Quote
iahawks550 Posted July 13, 2018 Posted July 13, 2018 Have Staples supply coupons basically gone away? It seemed like they were plentiful a couple years ago. Now I've quit looking in my email folder for them. Quote

lodibricks Posted July 13, 2018 Posted July 13, 2018 I suppose I'd prefer a bigger box this time. A good fit is nice, unless it arrives like an accordion. Most damaged set becomes the "keeper." ? Quote
lodibricks Posted July 13, 2018 Posted July 13, 2018 A little off-topic not being a shipped package. I'm starting to believe Walmart believes the damaged sets are worth more. "Better double-spider this one!" I also have no faith that the added security means the set hasn't already been tampered with. (Taped w/ spider, decent one w/o): Quote

t_mafia Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 Does anybody have a good way to remove sticker residue? I've heard about the trick of using a hairdryer to get the sticker to come off nicely, but it always leaves residue. For example, shipping stickers that have been attached directly to the box (thanks amazon) and/or WM clearance stickers added in the same way... Apologies if this has been covered already. Quote

Search for DIY Goo Gone recipes. Usually a mixture of baking soda or Borax and an oil. Best to test the recipes on a box you don't care about too much first before using it on one you do. 1 Quote
