No More Monkeys Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Do we normally this much products go on the retired list at a time? Is grolim around? He had fancy chart. Or someone was trying update his spreadsheet But couldn't upload?

No More Monkeys Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 It's uploaded, look at my post a couple posts back #96 Could you please make a chart out of "retired sets per time interval" and post it's picture? Thanks!

Darth_Raichu Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 (edited) ^ That Excel file is missing 2nd half of 2014. Didn't they retire some sets in November 2014 ? Edited February 19, 2015 by Darth_Raichu
Silliebaby Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 ^ That Excel file is missing 2nd half of 2014. I only took the data from the one grolim uploaded on june 2014, if you have the data I would be more than happy to add it and redo. I don't know where to find the data
holleman67 Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 ^ That Excel file is missing 2nd half of 2014. Like this? Did 300 sets actually retire in the us this month? Retired Set Count Per Month.JPG I dont think we missed much from July to January except for ssd? ;-) Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Brickpicker mobile app

Again, it's off the data I took off someone here on this forum, not sure how you guys find the data, maybe the approx. 300 or so sets were a mixture of sets retired end of last year to this year? and no one had taken the time to F5 the retired page since then? Not sure. But if you have data, I wouldn't mind updating the spreadsheet and the chart.
Grolim Posted February 19, 2015 Author Posted February 19, 2015 Thanks for the work on updating the list guys. I'll take a look at home tonight and see if I can make some posts of the stats. 2

I guessed S @ H did not retire anything in November, otherwise this thread would have had more activity then 1
Darth_Raichu Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 (edited) Thanks for the work on updating the list guys. I'll take a look at home tonight and see if I can make some posts of the stats. By the way some of the new additions (S1 Mixels, FH, etc) were already in your original list. You might want to check for duplicates Edited February 19, 2015 by Darth_Raichu
Guest TabbyBoy Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 I think it's just a matter of time before a "resurrection" thread is needed. To keep the peace, I'll not mention examples. Funny that the TH is still "Sold Out" though.

For the other sets only the dizziest of dreamers can see them coming back. For the rest of us we have reality in 2015 to look forward to.

I wonder if this will soon appear under the "Retired Product" search like the other victims this month. Yeh, as far as Santa's Workshop goes, I flipped the one I had and will re-buy at the end of the year. Seems like bouncing WVM was the start. Edited February 19, 2015 by TabbyBoy

You can find Townhall on US site and then change region to UK or whatever
Guest TabbyBoy Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 You can find Townhall on US site and then change region to UK or whatever Oh.. so it may NOT be retired in the UK yet? I can't be bothered to cheat like that as I only look at the UK region.

Frank Brickowski Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 What were the longest running sets after Death Star again (sets going 3,4,5 or more years)? Someone once posted a graphic of exclusives' life spans, unfortunately I cannot find it anymore.
zskid00 Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 GE was about 4.5 years and the Volkswagen T1 is going on 3.5 years.
Guest TabbyBoy Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 ... then change region to UK ... I have already, look at the screenshot below, it's simply not listed:
tmock12 Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 I have already, look at the screenshot below, it's simply not listed: 10224.JPG Read his post again "You can find Townhall on US site and then change region to UK or whatever" Breakdown: Go to US site Find Town Hall Click it Switch to UK region
Guest TabbyBoy Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 That's what I did the first time and it still doesn't work for me, must be ISP as it's the same with either UK or US proxy or without. I'll take your word for it. Thanks anyway! It's strange that you have to faff around like this when you can easily search for other retired sets. Oh, 50S4 on a TB in John Lewis, Reading - 3 on the shelf as of last night. Strangely boxes didn't look that good so I wonder if they've just been resealed?
