pnether32 Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Hello to everyone! I am very excited to be on this website. I have been reading a lot of exciting lego products on the forums. I can wait to get started on my LEGO collection once again! When I was 5 years old, for christmas my mom bought the Lego Castle Set 375 and it took us (well actually her - because I feel asleep lol) the whole night to complete. I have the set along with the old Lego Space Station Set in my closet back in my parents house. I ended up boxing those and other sets I had when I was a kid in hopes that one day if I had any kids, they would be able to play with them. I totally forgot I had them. Prior to Christmas, my 3 year old son has been watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on Nick and my wife bought him the Lego Kraang Escape Lab 79101 just to get him the Michael Angelo figure. To make a long story short, my wife ended up buying the whole TMNT set. I ended up building all of the sets for my son so it would be ready Christmas morning from Santa. (He is only three, so worst case scenario, I can pack them back in the boxes to open later when he is older, since the age is 5-12.) While building, I started thinking about the sets I had when I was a kid. I was wondering how much it was worth and stumbled onto this website. I didn't know that LEGO were such a great investment. I have a huge collection of sports memorabilia and autographs so I'm going to try this out and see where it leads. I cant wait to get started! Best of luck on all your collections! Quote
