stackables
Finally got around to looking at the set and I quickly notice that there is a ton of mega bloks. I still have to go through all the pieces but it looks like it is going to be a lot of them. Set was sold as in but nothing about having mega bloks. Do I just open an item not as described? I am going to contact the seller but I bet I get "It was sold as is".
tonysbricks
How complete are the sets? I really don't think you have a case here to be honest, their pictures are crystal clear.
Huskers1236
While from the pictures there are obviously a lot of Mega Bloks, I think you would have no problem with getting a full refund since it is stated that these are Lego sets, not a mish mash of off brands. Send them back.
stackables
Not sure how complete the set is. Just started going through the pieces to pull out all the mega blocks. I really didn't look super close at the pics to spot all the mega bloks because the title said "Lego". There was no mention of possible mega bloks in the sets. I originally just looked for important pieces and the minifigs. The original listing just had pictures of the sealed bags. I had to ask for pictures of the bags open. stackables
Just got through the first bag and more than half of the pieces are mega bloks. I am not going to bother with the second bag. Off to contact the seller and probably open a case. Pretty disappointing. If I return the set, would I have to pay for the return shipping? Unfortunately yes, unless you can negotiate for the seller to cover return shipping. If they don't agree, I'm not sure that you can get ebay to help you in any way with getting it covered.
stackables
Seller got back to me and offered a 25% discount. I don't think I am going to take it and probably end up requesting a full refund. The first bag was around 60% non lego pieces. The description mentions nothing about possible non lego pieces. I can understand a couple slipping though but the majority of the pieces being mega bloks is unacceptable.
iahawks550
When sifting through lots, I prefer to call them Mega-turds

Don't open a case unless you can't work things out with the seller on your own. An opened case will go on his seller record even if he fixes the problem, so it should be a last resort. Just try to work it out with him directly.

Unfortunately, I think it is the case of a seller selling something that have no clue about.
