I went and built this too. I almost paid $ on ebay for one since I missed the first build but they brought this back for some reason. I don't remember them bringing back take and builds of the same set but they probably did and I just didn't know. they had plenty to build and not much traffic.

I recently realized that a lego minecraft steve head I have had for a while was a misprint (its eyes were not centered with the face) and was wondering if it was worth anything

Went to LEGO store yesterday for the first time in a long time and they happened to have this free build thing. In case not obvious, this is a mini steering wheel that can rotate freely and can be tilted against its base. It is amazing the types of bricks available and the kind of printing. The 3 semi transparent lines on the translucent blue flat would have been unimaginable 10 years ago.

I think I am passing on the Slave I, two new characters and a ship basically the same as the one over my shoulder is not doing it but with everything in stock or coming soon, I have enough interest to get two sets of rewards. I imagine the kamino set will flip easily on eBay. I don't have much interest in it but if army builders with big banks want to pay $100+ then I will certainly support their habit.

I have not bought LEGO for so long, S@H told me I have 11k points expiring in a few days

Rakuten is hit or miss when it comes to Exclusives. I've never had them payout, though others on here have. I've also heard that using VIP points with Rakuten can cause it to fail as it's considered a competing discount program. I've had better luck with Retailmenot for any purchase at Lego, but as always YMMV. I'm also tempted to wait for a sale on the Venator (maye Black Friday?), but with the summer sets already seeing a price hike, I could see Lego bumping the Venator up to $700, making a 20% discount worth only 15%. Assuming it even goes on sale. (Wish it would get the Razorcrest 30% off and 2x VIP like they did back in 2023)

I want to pick up a UCS Venator before it retires, and while I could wait for a theoretical 20% off sale sometime next year (assuming the 12/2026 retirement date holds), I'm just going to turn around and use those VIP points on the UCS Death Star later this year - assuming there's a nice GWP that's exclusive to the Death Star. So, I could save $130 on the Venator next year, or I can save $130 on the UCS Death Star this year. I believe that is my financial argument to convince myself to pick up the Venator now rather than later. The question might become when to buy the Venator. Do I jump in right off the bat and guarantee the Clone Cadet set? Or do I wait for the Rakuten sale to start on May 5th, and maybe get an extra 5% - 10% back? With the Venator being an exclusive, I don't think it will garner the full 15% on Rakuten, but I hate to leave that money on the table in exchange for a Clone Cadet set.

I had one person over several months buy 8 of 75342, 2 where returned with no figures, As of now no 9th order and the last return was about a month ago, I also put in the comments "They stole our product" "They should be banned"

I'm struggling to see any value this year. Star Destroyer might be worthwhile if there is double VIP points.
-
Yep, I'm down over 50% from last year. Honestly I've done more sales on Bricklink then Amazon this last month.
-
No double points on all SW purchases is kinda lame. For me, it's a big part of the draw and helps justify some of the day-1 purchases. At lease the Jango Slave 1 gets a keychain as well (so 3x GWPs total). For the other 'deals', I suppose 4x points on the UCS Venator is decent...about $130ish worth of points plus 2 GWPs. I'd wait out for a clean 20% off on that one. The 20% off on the Razor Crest is a warm deal, as that set has been heavily discounted. But since it's retiring this year...might be worth grabbing it before it's gone for good.

How many times did you report the same abusive buyer via the tools before Amazon stopped them? If the answer is more than once, then probably your answer to that poll should be Strongly disagree
